Dr. Hinckley was born and raised in the Salt Lake Valley. After graduating from the University of Utah with majors in Russian and English, he decided to pursue a career in medicine. He attended the University of Utah School of Medicine and after an internship at Washington State and later moved to North Carolina where he completed his general dermatology training at Wake Forest University. Following that, Dr. Hinckley moved to Kentucky where he trained in Mohs Micrographic Skin Cancer Surgery. This technique is mainly used for skin cancer removal on the face and scalp and provides the highest cure rate possible. His passion is surgical dermatology, particularly treating skin cancer with the best cure rate possible. Dr Hinckley tries to give his patients excellent care and gladly give them his personal cell phone to send photos or contact me with any questions they may have about a surgery.
Besides spending time with his wife and four children he enjoys reading, donuts, hiking, horseback riding, and a variety of sports. He loves dermatology and is grateful to be able to serve his amazing patients!
