Orthopedics & Sports Medicine
Nate grew up in Southern Utah and attended Southern Utah University where he graduated, Summa Cum Laude, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006. After working for a while as a nurse, he went on to further his education and in 2011, he graduated from Brigham Young University with a Master of Science in Nursing. Nate began his career as a nurse practitioner by working with an orthopedist who specialized in total hip and knee replacements. He then began working with another orthopedist specializing in foot and ankle care and fracture care of all long bones. Now he is excited to join Granger Alta View Sports Medicine, working with Dr. James R. Meadows.
Working as a nurse and health care provider, Nate has a unique approach to patient care and always puts the needs of his patients first. He enjoys spending time with patients and empowers them to make important decisions in their care. He works hard to find the appropriate diagnosis through a combination of imaging and physical exam, allowing for proper care which includes bracing, injection, physical therapy, or surgery. He and Dr. Meadows work in conjunction to treat all acute or chronic injuries.
Outside of work, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and three children. They enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, and playing games. Nate is also an avid runner and enjoys participating in many half-marathons annually. He also enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, and canyoneering.
