Melissa Armknecht recently joined Granger Medical Clinic after completing her education at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Prior to this, she gained valuable experience as a medical laboratory scientist at Primary Children’s Hospital, where she contributed to providing critical diagnostic information to help clinicians deliver the best care for their patients.
Melissa is passionate about patient care and believes that truly listening to her patients is the key to effective treatment. She prioritizes dignity, respect, and open communication in the patient-provider relationship. She is committed to delivering compassionate, competent care and ensuring that every patient feels heard and seen during their visits.
Outside of work, Melissa is deeply devoted to her family and enjoys spending time with her loving husband, nieces, and nephews, who affectionately call her “Auntie Bliss.” In her free time, she enjoys baking, reading, and savoring quality moments with her family. A fan of Mexican cuisine, she can always be counted on to order spinach and artichoke dip when it’s available.
