Ashleigh A. Byrne, MD
Granger Pain & Spine
My interest in pain medicine came early in my career after spending a summer in medical school with a pediatric anesthesiologist, Ana-Lucia, in Guatemala. Ana-Lucia was a very caring anesthesiologist who offered the children she treated a glimmer of hope and quiet, and most importantly a respite to their pain. Her attention to pain became my primary focus through my training. Pain management is an evolving specialty with advances in technology, such as spinal cord stimulation, and promising medications. Pain is often not addressed with many physicians, yet has an incredible impact on a patient’s life.
Care Philosophy
I strive to individualize treatment to improve function as well as reduce pain and medication use with a combination of interventions and procedures, medications and physical therapy.
