Zachary J. Hansen, DO

Family Medicine

Dr. Hansen joins Granger Medical Clinic from Washington Health System in Pennsylvania. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Utah and went forward to medical school at A.T. Still University Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at the Washington Health System in Washington, PA.

Dr. Hansen is a local and was born and raised in the beautiful city of West Jordan. He has been anxiously waiting to return home and provide extraordinary healthcare to friends, family, and his community.

Dr. Hansen believes that medicine is a partnership between the patient and the physician. He is invested in improving patient quality of life, providing patients with information on how to take control of their health, preventative medicine, and helping manage chronic illnesses. Dr. Hansen takes his role seriously as a physician, especially when it comes to treating the members of the community that he grew up in. Dr. Hansen takes special care to listen to the concerns of each of his patients, treats them as individuals who deserve respect, and provides comprehensive care. Dr. Hansen is noted among his colleagues for his desire to teach and was awarded the George Schmieler Award due to his dedication to learning medicine and teaching those around him.

He is married and has two daughters. He loves activities with the family, Utah Jazz, any sport that gets him moving, Chess and cooking.
