Internal Medicine
Internal medicine is a medical specialty devoted to the comprehensive health and wellness for adult patients. Practitioners of internal medicine are commonly referred to as internists or primary care providers. Unlike other specialties that focus on one area of the body, internal medicine integrates all areas of medicine to treat the whole person. Our internists here at Granger Medical Clinic provide preventative care, diagnose and treat many common ailments and chronic illnesses, and refers to other specialty providers when appropriate. When a patient’s comorbidities require them to see multiple specialty providers, the coordination of care and follow up is often led by the internist.
The role of our internists also includes acting as an advocate for our patients in a complex healthcare system. We understand the immense amount of trust you place in us when you select us to be your healthcare provider and we don’t take our responsibility lightly. Our highly trained and caring staff are ready to provide you with the superior care you deserve. We appreciate the opportunity to serve you!
